OUR STORY

Born From a Love of Real Food

Salata began in 2018 with a simple belief: that the food we eat shapes the lives we live. What started as a small farmers market stand has grown into a movement—proving that healthy eating doesn't have to mean sacrificing flavor, convenience, or joy.

Our founders, Maya Chen and James Rivera, were frustrated by the lack of truly transparent, delicious, and accessible healthy food options. They envisioned a place where every bowl tells a story—of local farmers, sustainable practices, and the communities we serve.
